stevie wonder and sunset twirlin'

Got to shoot a portrait session with this gorgeous, music lovin, sunset twirlin' graduate. I work with her mom, but don't know her all that well, and felt so priviliged to go behind the scenes on such a close and sweet relationship. Emily seemed totally relaxed and adored around her mom, and I got the sense from the very beginning that this was a girl who was given permission to be all that she is.

She just graduated from UT with a degree in management and interned at music venues and is trying to break into the business. She grew up a dancer and has the poise and movements to show for it. Im looking forward to seeing what she does with her passion for music.

By the way....listening to Barry White, the Drifters and the soundtrack of the movie "Bobby" about the asssination of Bobby Kennedy ...a little Stevie Wonder's "Made to Love Her." This precious one was adorable, and we had SO much fun. Such a light inside of her.
